When I have a 100Kg net, target Bass at Neherrin. North Carolina - Neherrin is an inexpensive trip with good profit that's great for bass & crappie When I have the 40Kg net, target Walleye and Pike at Emerald Lake. If I wanted a change of scenery from those I rotated to a couple other spots The smaller fish are more $ per lb/kg which is beneficial with a smaller net if you don't mind reeling more fish in to fill a net.įlorida bass at peak times can fill a large net in a couple hours with multiple rods in the water. With a rod holder you can reel in more weight with 2 - 3 bass, walleye or trout in less time than fighting to land one pike. I didn't target pike or muskie until level 40(ish), when you can reel in pike without much of a fight. Perhaps not the fastest method, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I suggest to fish from a kayak anchor up, so the fish can tow you around while reeling it in. But a 9/10 kg setup will give you long fights. Michigan is beautiful and great for targeting walleye (get much larger than New York), trout and bass. 1 Tosiek 10:39am Originally posted by high-in-the-sky: You can go to Saint-Croix Lake, Michigan, for pike. Depending on how big your net is (might require a couple day trip to be profitable) and if you have a rod holder I enjoy St Croix and Everglades a lot more. ![]()
